Becoming A Contagious Christian: Session 2

Thanks again for everyone who joined us! I praise the Lord for all of your desire to grow in evangelism.

In session 2 of Becoming A Contagious Christian, we took a Styles Questionnaire to discover our personal style of evangelism.

Here are the six styles of evangelism:

1. The Direct Style
Biblical Example: Peter (Acts 2)
Characteristics: confident, assertive, to the point

2. The Intellectual Style
Biblical Example: Paul (Acts 17)
Characteristics: inquisitive, analytical, logical

3. The Testimonial Style
Biblical Example: The Blind Man (John 9)
Characteristics: clear communicators, compelling story tellers, good listeners

4. The Interpersonal Style
Biblical Example: Matthew (Luke 5:29)
Characteristics: relational warmth, conversational, friendship oriented

5. The Invitational Style
Biblical Example: Samaritan Woman (John 4)
Characteristics: hospitable, relational, persuasive

6. The Serving Style
Biblical Example: Tabitha (Dorcas) (Acts 9)
Characteristics: other-centered, work behind the scenes, patient

Main Points
- Every style has its strength and cautions.
- Every style requires work and development! Which every style is yours, be sure to work on it.

We also updated our Impact List to brainstorm the next step of action as we seek to be intentional in bringing a friend/family member to Christ. Keep them in your prayers!

For those of you who have not received a book, we're ordering more this week so you should have them in time for Session 3: Deepening Your Relationships and Conversations!

Please remember to bring your book on Sunday. Connections Study happens on Sundays at 11:30 A.M. in E10.
