Becoming a Contagious Christian: Session 1

Thanks to everyone who came to Connections Study last week! We were packed to the gills so this week, be sure to come early to grab a good seat. Please don't forget to bring your books back for Session 2!

Here are some things we discussed in Session 1:

People have many different perspectives about who Jesus is. Have you asked those whom you hope to reach what their perspective it?

The goal of this course: To prepare us to be contagious Christians who are active in leading others to Christ.

Our positive and negative perceptions of evangelism and evangelists.
- Application point: Unless we begin seeing evangelists as who WE are, and not what we don't want to be or what we could never be, we will never become effective evangelists.

Components of Contagious Christianity
- it is fueled by LOVE
- it flows out of AUTHENTICITY
- it is built on RELATIONSHIPS
- it is expressed in ACTIONS and WORDS
- it is a PROCESS
- it is a PARTNERSHIP with God and other contagious Christians around us.
- Beginning our Prayer List and Impact List

We'll be diving deeper into Becoming a Contagious Christian in Session 2: Being Yourself and Impacting Others. Come discover your personal evangelism style and how to capitalize on the personality God has given you to bring others to His kingdom.

Don't forget to bring your books back for Session 2!!

Connections Study happens on Sundays from 11:30 - 12:30 in E10 at FEC-SGV.
